Total world domination via long range climate prediction. This is proving to be difficult.

Background:

I started as a zygote. After dividing repeatedly, I went to college, first at UC Santa Cruz and then at the University of Washington. I'm now at UC San Diego's Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

Software I've written and make available to the net, including Ncview, the netCDF data file viewer; the CalCalcs routines, C-language software for calendrical computations; Udunits-IDL, a native interface to the Udunits package for the IDL analysis system from RSI; FXDR, the Fortran to XDR library; fixtape, for use with SCSI tape drives on Linux systems; and an EOF routine.	The text of articles either submitted to or already appearing in the refereed Oceanographic literature. I'm assuming here that you haven't already read them in your dentist's office.	Various work in progress reports of interest to only a limited audience. VERY limited. OK, nobody.	The traditional photos of my wife, my cat, my cat's wife, etc.
