Climate Action Team Report 2008 -- A Peak
Below are graphics that represent work in progress for the Climate Action Teamp Report 2008.
PrecipitationComparison of the water year precipitation from the 6 GCMs over the Sacramento region. Bar graphs show the percent of normal precipitation for three climate change periods (2005-2034, 2035-2064 and 2070-2099). Normal precipitation is for the 1961-1990 period. Results from the SRESA2 (top) and SRESB1 (bottom) simulations are shown. The 6 bars for each time period represent the 6 GCMs (1) CNRM CM3, (2) GFDL CM2.1, (3) MIROC3.2 (medium resolution), (4) MPI-OM ECHAM5, (5) NCAR CCSM3 and (6) NCAR PCM1. Results for the Sacramento region are shown below.
Monthly percent of annual precipitation from the 6 GCMs over the Sacramento region. Graphs show the Jan-Dec percent of annual precipitation for the historical (1961-1990) period (blue bar) and the 2070-2099 climate change period (brick red circle SRESA2 and goldenrod triangle SRESB1). Three models are shown on each page.

TemperatureComparison of the summer and winter temperature from the 6 GCMs over the Sacramento region. Bar graphs show the change from 1961-1990 for three climate change periods (2005-2034, 2035-2064 and 2070-2099). Winter is January, February and March. Summer is July, August and September.
