Atmospheric Hydrology Annual Cycle

John Roads & Shyh Chen, Scripps Institution of Oceanography, UCSD

The following images show the atmospheric hydrology annual cycle as computed from the atmospheric analyses of the National Meteorological Center (NMC). In each image, the upper left panel is the integrated water vapor amount, the upper right panel is the precipitation amount, the lower left is moisture convergence, and the lower right is the surface evaporation.
